Fluid Movement has outdone themselves with their production of “Howard & Lex: The Way We Roll.” I’ve seen one of their shows in the past, but this one takes the cake by touching on issues our community needs to face in a fun-loving way. For me the loudest message was, know your history so that you have a stronger stance in the present. After the show, Johns Hopkins provided one of his Baltimore Heritage Tours and I tagged along. Because of the show, and the tour, I have a renewed pride in our poor dear City. Even if an ambulance did pass by with sirens ablare, and a loud speaker squawk of, “Welcome to Baltimore.”

Here is more on the show from Julie Scharper, a professional journalist friend of mine who also attended: http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/breaking/bs-md-ci-howard-street-performance-20120322,0,4609395.story

P.S. Julie was sweet enough to have one of my photos published along with her article – I *heart* you girl!
